Issued pads don’t breath worth a damn

Issued pads don't breath worth a damn

Kits: 140. Hometown: Cheyenne, WY. Heard about us: Google. Duties: Infantry. Current Pads: Standard issue, glued seams, sage green color. Comments: My company is deploying this summer and is in sore need of helmet pad upgrades. We have conducted 4 multi-week long training events in the LA heat in the last few months and most of my guys’ pads are disintegrating. The issued pads don’t breath worth a damn and end up slipping around on your head once you start sweating. As you guys well know, its harder to get guys to keep their ACHs on their BHG (brain housing groups) after the darn things start slipping down over their eyes and straining the back of their neck. Any help would be much appreciated. 1LT, US Army

Kits: 1. Hometown: Eatonton, GA. Heard about us: Friend. Duties: Tanker. Current Pads: gray, glued. Comments: They are too hard and do soften when warmed. SFC, US Army.

Thank you and your team so very much for the program y’all are running! I have received my helmet pad replacement set and they are AWESOME !!  I am sure most Soldiers in my unit are having the same problem as the Army issued helmet pads are inferior in every way! I will pass on the word to my Soldiers as we are soon to deploy overseas (I cannot divulge any specifics, as I’m sure you understand), so you can expect an increase in request for the helmet pad upgrades. Thanks again for what you and your team are doing for the protectors of our great nation.  v/r,  SFC, Platoon Sergeant, Company Master Gunner
