The issued pads are a horrible combination with our communication headsets

Kits: 22. Hometown: Holtville, CA. Heard about us: Researching for a better alternative to our current pads.. Duties: We are the new Army unit dedicated to advise and assist Afghan National Army and Police Force in order to gain ground against enemy forces. Current pads: Regular army issued pads. Grey in color. Issued at RFI. Comments: We are setting to deploy within 30 days, and I found out during our recent rotation to JRTC, that the issued pads are a horrible combination to our communication headsets. The thickness and firmness of them makes them so uncomfortable to wear for periods longer than 60 minutes. Our routine has us wearing helmets in excess of 6 hours a day and we are trying to minimize any distractions while outside the wire, having a comfortable helmet/pad combo would definitely help. Kits: 10. Hometown: Destin. Heard about us: Friend. Duties: Foreign Internal Defense. Current pads: Hard foam. Comments: We currently have the ops core helmets, but a friend of mine has a set of yalls pads in his that are super comfortable. He pointed me to yalls website. I think he had the green/black ones made for the ACH. Thank you!. SGT, US Army

Kits: 50. Hometown: NYC. Heard about us: I requested for the same brand from this org. for my last deployment. Duties: Joint Fires Observer. Current pads: CIF. Comments: I’ve worn your helmet pads since i got them on my last deployment. They are the most comfortable pads that i have tried and the light weight design makes the helmet feel like its not even there. I wanted to request some for my current unit which is templated for an overseas deployment. Our mission set will have us carry a fair load and im looking for anything to lighten our load. SGT, US Army

Kits: 5. Hometown: Seabeck WA. Heard about us: Fellow team leader who received some from you guys. Duties: Infantry, convoy ops, airfield seizures. Current pads: Gray issued pads. Comments: My guys are either taking out some of their pads, or cutting them down. Both of which are unsafe for current and future operation.. SPC, US Army

Kits: 46. Hometown: SAINT LOUIS MISSOURI. Heard about us: 1LT. Duties: SUPPLY. Current pads: 28. Comments: THEY ARE JUST NOT UP TO PAR AS THEY SHOULD BE. SOME OF THE PEOPLE IN THE TROOP JUST DO NOT LIKE ENJOY THEM. PFC, US Army
