The pads we currently have are giving everyone headaches

Kits: 42. Hometown: Jonesboro, GA. Heard about us: Prior use before another deployment. Duties: Infantry. Current Pads: issued. grey, seam glued. Comments: The current pads cause headaches, discomfort and poor fit. My company used your pads on our Afghanistan deployment last year. Marines were more likely to keep their helmets on for long periods of time due to comfort and fit. Despite several IED strikes we never had any significant head injuries or TBI which I believe is a direct result of the pads and proper wear of the helmet. I am now with a different unit preparing for another deployment and would appreciate your help in affording these Marines the same opportunity. SSGT, USMC

Kits: 20. Duties: infantry. Current Pads: They are grey pads, cloth textured. Comments: The pads we currently have are giving everyone headaches and are miserable to put on when cold. Guy are constantly wanting to take them off on patrols because they bother them so much. Sergeant, USMC

Kits: 1. Hometown: Hope, Ar. Heard about us: Chain of command. Duties: Infantry. Current Pads: Gray Velcro basic foam pads. Comments: The pads I currently wear in my Kevlar helmet work fine for a short period of time, but after extended wear the pads begin to cause a headache and makes wearing the helmet very painful. The pressure the pads cause on my head is also contributing to the beginning stages of hair loss. CPL, USMC
