Kits: 1. Heard about us: Friend in Scout Sniper Platoon. Duties: Infantry, Reconnaissance. Current Pads: The grey issued pads with black lettering. Very hard/rigid, with no dexterity. Comments: As part of the scout sniper platon, we insert on various platforms. Recently we had a vehicle accident and the pads caused bruising on my head, not offering much cushion at all. Hopefully I won’t be in that situation again, but if I am I want to know I have pads that will protect my head and not cause more damage. Thank you. CPL, USMC
Kits: 2. Hometown: Buford, Ga. Heard about us: My motivated drill instructor staff sergeant informed me of this website.. Duties: Artillery AKA raining steel death. Current Pads: They are normal CIF issued pads. Not sure of brand. Gray in colour. velcro fixture. Comments: Cannot wait to receive my new pads. I’ve already tried your pads on one of the Marines in my battery and I am thoroughly impressed. SGT, USMC.
Kits: 2. Hometown: San Juan, Puerto Rico. Heard about us: Friend. Duties: Artillery/Infantry. Current Pads: The basic USMC issue, light grey & black, cheap material.. Comments: The problem we face right now, is that the current pads are not very good material and due to the “wear and tear” they do not last. They also give me migraines and its just counter productive to wear. They have proven to be less than desirable to use. Most of us hate to wear them but we do regardless because its better than nothing. GySgt, USMC
